How I Lost 12.5 Pounds & Regained My Soul

Naked, as in truth, and uncensored, I share my daily quest to survive as a woman and artist, while dealing with the complications of a full life, meddling in politics, loving my children to excess, totally permanently married and on a never-ending diet. While my soul is in constant need of repair and redemption, I struggle to do the right thing. In the meantime, let's all double the love. (Love, not sex, you fool). Tribute to the men I know and love...

Good afternoon, my handsome little seacrabs~

As I often post about the plight of women and children, I did want to make it clear that the majority of the men I know (and all those I love) do their best to love and empower women.

Because I so often sigh and moan over what men do to women, I just wanted to make it clear that I recognize and thank God that there are many wonderful men who do just the opposite. My men are the most wonderful people I have ever known. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit here, but not too much.:)

Most of the time we don't know who the men are who are dominating their wives, abusing them and exploiting them. We don't usually know when the women are doing that to their men either, do we? Those caveats aside, I am hoping that one day the world will come to the conclusion that the half of humanity that is restrained from giving their gifts in full is truly worthy of equal treatment and respect.

It may not happen in my lifetime, but one day I believe it will. Why? Because the basic character of a human being is to be fair, and fairness demands equality for all.
